I have nothing to say about the quality of food. These are good fresh products. I have no doubt that the restaurant is quality, but no luck for me, I had a bad day.
I arrived at 1:30 PM, informing that I must be at 2:30 PM at Père Lachaise cemetery. The delay does not seem horribly short.
Honey pork knuckle with honey (17 euros) arrives quickly, too fast. It was cold inside. Good taste but a big bone and little meat.
The real problem is at the vegetable level. Turnips very tasty but badly peeled. First, it remains the stem joint (without the stem itself) and especially the one who prepared has forgotten that a turnip must be peeled twice with a peele to remove the stringy layer. (Or then peelied thick with a knife).
Not to stay on a bad feeling, I took the brioche of French toast (8 euros) for dessert. Texture elastic. With a vanilla ice cream and a small jar of milk jam (or liquid caramel).
I share my comments with the boss who transmits them to the chef. The glass of wine has been offered to me.
I really think I was not lucky because the restaurant offers an interesting menu with products that are probably fresh and normally well prepared.
