The Breslin (Dum Dum!) – New-York – USA
When I was told at the end of the meal that this restaurant had a Michelin star, I only regretted one thing is not to have returned all dishes in the kitchen, except the dessert.
Razor Clams a little overcooked and especially too salty, mushrooms accompanied by a burrata ball on a huge slice of bread without any interest, small curry pie banal and too acidic. The oysters were good. It must only open them …
Talk to the waitress who tells me that I was not the first customer to complain about the abundance of salt, but it seems that the chef is turning a deaf ear. Anyway, she’s only there one evening a week since she runs another restaurant in Los Angeles.
So it must be said that we are not in France 1 Michelin star rates, but still, this restaurant is definitely not at the gastronomic level. Maybe that’s enough for Americans but all French people will be disappointed.
Beautiful wine list with, among others, a 2012 white Château Musar sympathetic to 52 $.

Excellent service and very smiling, it saves the atmosphere.
Restaurant very noisy. Here again the French criteria are very far.
