Au Bretzel – Paris – France
Rare à Paris
Except the big “brasseries” known by everybody, the small Alsatian restaurants are one of the rarities in Paris. It is true that we, the Alsatians, have never been able to ensure our promotion as Bretons or Aveyronnais. And with a minimalist website, a facade hidden in a small street of the fourteenth arrondissement, in the shadow of La Creole, you have to know to go there.
And yet, what a pleasure to relax with the simple joys of a presskopf or a salad of cervelas? It no longer contains brains, the BSE has again made collateral damage on this dish.
The sauerkraut is obviously Home Made. A delight. With half-hocks optional for big eaters.
I was so hungry and happy to go back to my homeland that I forgot to take pictures of the dishes. Too Gourmand !
And a little “qvetsch” to finish all that!
